Private dwelling projects are typically done in 4 stages:

	The concept and consultation stage, including a site visit to carry out a feasibility study
	The agreement stage. Once the client is satisfied that Sky can deliver their dreams, an agreement is signed and an initial deposit paid
	Construction commencement and project execution stages, with periodic work-in-progress reports provided by Sky, and stage payments made by the client
	Final completion stage. The dwelling is completed, delivered and checked by the client and the retention payment made to Sky thereafter.

There is a Home Finance Company (HFC) in Freetown, and Sky Construction has strong links with this company. We look forward to working with HFC to provide mortgage facilities to customers in need of financial assistance to build the homes of their dreams. In the meantime, our bankers Union Trust Bank (UTB) do provide shorter-term facilities to those in need.

Estate development is paramount in the minds of the Sky Board of directors. The prospect of a land bank is eminent both in the Freetown peninsula and in the provinces of Sierra Leone. Our vision is that in the next few years, Sky Construction will be in a position to offer value for money affordable housing in different parts of Sierra Leone, thus making a significant contribution to rebuilding our homeland.
